This is where you can learn about how the mango season is progressing in terms of: when we will have fruit and which variety we are currently picking. You can leave comments or ask questions. You can share your experiences that you have had with our fruit or an interesting story about my Dad who started and ran the Mango Factory for 40 years. We value your comments and look forward to hearing from you.
We began shipping our pre-orders June 14, 2012 and opened to the public for pick-up on June 16. On June 24 we were hit hard by Tropical Storm Debbie and lost a tremendous amount of fruit. Rather than dwelling on the fruit we lost on the ground, we focused on what we had in the trees. We will still have a lot of fruit because every tree produced very strong this year. As of July 15 we are still picking our signature fruit the Valencia Pride. Next week we should begin picking some Kents along with the Valentias. Keitts will probably be ready the 1st of August.
Feel free to contact us with your inquiries or make a post.
Thanks, Doug Flowerree
